What began as George Najour's deli and beer bar on North Highland Avenue has grown into one of Atlanta's most beloved neighborhood spots. Through six decades of Atlanta life — the growth of Virginia-Highland, the transformation of the city — George's has remained exactly what it always was: a warm, unpretentious place to grab a great burger and a cold beer.
